Following the announcement of names of 2021 Nobel Prize winners last month, we decided to bring out a Special Issue of the KIIT R&D Newsletter on Nobel Prizes 2021. We are happy to bring out the Special Issue this month with contributions from our esteemed colleagues. The Issue contains seven articles. The first article sketches the life and work of Alfred Nobel, his Will to institute the Prizes, and the various features of the Nobel Prizes. The other articles highlight the works of the Nobel Laureates in their respective fields.
We hope that the achievements of the renowned Nobel Laureates outlined in the articles in this Special Issue will inspire our faculty and research students to do their research in challenging fields sincerely, honestly, and with perseverance. |
