KIMS Pain Medicine Department conducts 20th batch of Comprehensive Pain & Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Hands on Workshop
The 20th batch of “Comprehensive Pain & Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Hands-on Workshop” (CPMU) was successfully conducted by Dr. Rajendra Sahoo, Consultant Pain Medicine at KIMS Super-specialty Hospital. This 1-week long flagship event is a regular and very popular practical training course on application of ultrasound in diagnosis and therapeutic intervention of chronic musculoskeletal pain and neuromuscular problems conducted by the Department of Pain Medicine at KIMS.
The 20th edition of CPMU was attended by practicing Pain Physicians from Chennai and Moradabad, UP. The week-long program involved clinical examination of patients in the OPD, ultrasound scanning, and learning protocolized musculoskeletal ultrasound of all joints and nerve pathology. On top of that, the participants also got to observe many interventional pain management procedures that were performed under ultrasound guidance in our procedure room.

The training program was highly interactive with lectures and doubt-clearing sessions.
