Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) has been conferred the prestigious “1st Achiever of Best Hospital in Nursing Excellence from Eastern India – Districts & States” at the 4th ICC National Nursing Summit & Excellence Awards, held in Hyderabad on 11th July 2026.

The summit served as a distinguished national platform, bringing together nursing leaders, policymakers, academicians, and healthcare professionals from across the country to deliberate on the future of nursing in India. Centred on the theme “Future-Ready Nursing,”the event highlighted the transformative role of innovation, artificial intelligence, digital health, leadership, policy advocacy, advanced nursing practice, and quality-driven healthcare in shaping the next generation of nursing professionals.

These initiatives are further strengthened through simulation-based training at theKaabeel Simulation and Skill Up-gradation Center, equipped with high-fidelity simulators that enable nurses to develop advanced clinical competencies in a safe and dynamic learning environment.
