Outreach Program by KIIT School of Applied Sciences

The School of Applied Sciences, KIIT-DU organized a half-day outreach programme for B.Sc. Chemistry (Hons.) students of Salipur Autonomous College on 22nd March 2022. The students along with their teachers visited the UG/PG/Research Labs of the School, Central Research Facility (CRF) and The Central Library. It was followed by an interactive session with the students and accompanying faculty members. Dr. Dibyaranjan Rout, PG Program Head highlighted the uniqueness of the M.Sc. program offered by the School and encouraged the students to apply for the MSc program at KIIT. Dr. Gopal  K. Pradhan, Dr. Mrutyunjay Das and Dr. Jatin Sinha addressed various questions raised about the program and encouraged them to spread the positivity of their visit with their friends from other streams. 

Dr. Asit Parija, Faculty Coordinator, Salipur College mentioned that the students and his faculty colleagues were overwhelmed to see the facilities, infrastructure and beauty of the campus. He stated that the visit provided a wonderful exposure to the student and vouched for future visits by other science streams of Salipur Autonomous College. He expressed gratitude and thanked the university administration and Dean-SAS, KIIT for facilitating the visit. The event was coordinated by Dr.  Jatin Sinha, Dr. Gopal K. Pradhan and Dr. Dibyaranjan Rout with active support from Prof. Prasanta Rath, Dean SAS and  the coordinators of Chemistry, Mathematics &  Biology.
