KSOL & KIIT IRO Launch English Language Training Program for International Students

KIIT School of Languages (KSOL), in association with the International Relations Office (IRO), launched an Online English Language Training Program for the International Students of KIIT Deemed to be University on 17th March 2022.

The 40-hour online training program for two batches (each of 30 students) is spread over 10 weeks with 4-hour per week classes in two sessions. After completing the course, students will be able to demonstrate the level of proficiency necessary to enable them to function in an environment where English is used exclusively. The evaluation criteria for this course are in accordance with the revised recommendations of TESOL (Teaching of English to Speakers of Other Languages). Students’ progress will be periodically assessed through quizzes, assignments and presentations, in addition to the Mid-semester and End-semester assessment tests (including LSRW Skills).

The inaugural session was graced by Prof. (Dr.) Beerendra Pandey, Dean, KSOL and Dr Anita Pati, Dean, International Students’ Relations, who encouraged the participants to develop their English skills & pronunciations under the supervision of their Instructor Ms. Amrita Chottaroy. The session was initiated and moderated by Mr. Sameer Kumar Das, Deputy Director, KSOL.
