Odisha Adivasi Forum organized ‘Chhilkaw’ at KIIT Campus

All Odisha Adivasi Forum organized ‘Chhilkaw‘, i.e. a celebration of Santhali Culture, Tradition, Music and Dance at KSAC, Campus-13, KIIT University on 25th November, 2017.

Inaugurating the event Prof. Achyuta Samanta, Founder of KIIT & KISS said,

“I firmly believe that indigenous people have a strong voice. Education is the weapon for Tribal Empowerment and lends them a voice. KISS as a model has been working on this principle for the last two and half decades and holds a successful template for eradication of poverty today,”

he added

Around 10000 enthusiastic tribal people belonging to 8 states of India were assembled at this cultural extravaganza.
