KIIT School of Computer Science Engineering Conducts ‘Kalakariya-2021’
‘Kalakariya-2021’, an event comprising dance, song and instrumental, painting slide shows and poetry performances, was inaugurated at KIIT School of Computer Science Engineering on 13st August 2021 via online mode. It aimed at giving a break to the students from their hectic schedule of studies, assignments as well as their home-stay period, by involving them in online cultural activities.
Dr. Biswajeet Sahoo, Director, School of Computer Engineering motivated the students and faculty to start the Kalakariya-2021 in online mode. Dr. Samaresh Mishra, Director of Student Affairs and Professor at the School of Computer Engineering inaugurated the 1st session of the event. Dr. Manjusha Pandey, Associate Professor praised the students for their active participation. Mr. Sagar Patnaik, Assistant Professor interacted with the students and wished for their physical fitness. Other faculties also joined the event and motivated the participants.
The dance activity was coordinated by Ms. Roshni Pradhan, Assistant Professor. Dr. Sagar Patnaik moderated the session with the help of volunteers, which included, Student Coordinator, Debadrito, and the two anchors Shilpi Raj and Abir Mishra. They all worked together persistently to bring the best out of the students as well as the smooth functioning of the whole event.
The event consisted of Music by Sriyansh Bajaj and Arunesh Kumar, Dance by Sanjeevani and Amrita, Poetry by Prachi Kashyap, and showcase of beautiful Paintings by Ishita Paul. Sagar mesmerized the participants with his melodious song. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation by the students.
