KIIT School of Computer Engineering Organizes Lecture on “Bitcoin Forensics Case Studies”

Dr. Anwitaman Dutta, Associate Professor, School of Computer Science and Engineering, NTU Singapore delivered a lecture on “Bitcoin Forensics Case Studies” on 21st August 2021. The lecture, organized by the School of Computer Engineering, KIIT Deemed to be University, enlightened and benefited Graduate and Master’s students, research scholars, and faculty members by explaining them about Bitcoin analytics, Bitcoin graph models and Bitcoin forensics along with various case studies of the related events of money laundering in the recent past.  He also demonstrated the use of a tool Biva for Bitcoin Network Visualization & Analysis. The session was interactive and the speaker cleared all the queries of the participants. The event was coordinated by Dr. Dipak Kumar Mohanty, Assistant Professor of the School of Computer Engineering and hosted by Ms. Divya Kumari, Assistant Professor of the School of Computer Engineering.
