KSRM Organizes Alumni Talk
“Necessity is the mother of invention” – is one of the many things that the participants could relate to from the alumni talk conducted on 26th November 2021 by KIIT School of Rural Management (KSRM).
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Prashant Singh of 2017-2019 batch of MBA (RM) narrated his student life at KSRM, the faculty members and his experiences throughout. He told the students that as aspiring rural and agri business managers they should think about ways to solve the problems that people are facing in the rural areas. He also explained that failure is important in life as it makes one impartial to judgments and also gives strength to embrace adversity. The session ended with many interesting questions from the students and Mr. Singh concluded the talk by saying that he wants to see more entrepreneurs from KSRM.
Mr. Prashant Singh pursued his B-Tech in Mechanical Engineering from KIIT Deemed to be University and worked for Plancess Edu Solutions. He also initiated a startup called HostelHaat in Bhubaneswar. He currently works at TechnoServe as Senior Associate. His major working areas are strengthening FPC and agri-input and output business. He is presently working with Digital Saathi, an initiative of Cargill to provide digital solutions to farmers in Agri-input market place, agri-output market place and advisory.
