KSRM Organizes Agribusiness Leaders Talk
A guest talk was organized by KIIT School of Rural Management (KSRM) on 27th August 2021 for the students of MBA (Agribusiness Management) under the Agribusiness Leader’s Talk Series.
Delivering the talk, Mr. Arun Subbiah, Vice President, Chareon Pokphand (CP) Food India Pvt Ltd. shared about the poultry business of CP Foods. He discussed the roles of various departments in the poultry business and technical sales. He showed how a few days old chicks are placed in environmental controlled sheds, feeders for broiler birds in a urea free territory and described the processed chicken business of CP Foods. He talked about the food factory, products, channels, product brands like CP Easy Snack, CP Eggs, CP Fresh Sea Foods and CP Food Service for HORECA (HO-Hotel, RE-Restaurant, CA-Catering). Informing about the initiative of CP Foods for entrepreneurs, named Five Star and Koli Hut, he elaborated on the chicken processing in Chittoor food processing plant.
Mr. Subbiah has a successful track record of working in the food and beverage industry. He is skilled in negotiation, business planning, market analysis and agronomy. He has worked in different capacities in companies like Green Horizon Produce Marketing LLP, MokshaYug Access (India) Pvt Ltd, Godrej Agrovet and Godrej Tyson Foods Ltd.
