Train the Trainers in Medical Simulation Started at Kaabeel Center, KIMS

A Train the Trainers program in Medical Simulation was started at Kaabeel Simulation and Skill Upgradation Center at KIMS. The aim is to create 100 trainers from Nursing College Faculties, final year Post Graduate Students, In-Charge and Supervisors within two years in 25 skill-upgradation and simulation modules related to routine paramedics jobs. It will facilitate teaching and training at workplaces and classrooms in micro clusters round the year. The focus of the 25 module program is to develop simulation based pedagogy and innovatively approached simulation-based faculty development programs to fill the gap between Theory and Practice. Cardiac Anaesthesiologist, KIMS, Dr. Ashok Kumar Badamali is the master trainer for the program. In due course of time, master trainers from other national and international institutes will also be roped in to conduct various modules.
