IIT Professor Delivers Lecture on ‘Machine Learning using Python’ at KIIT

Dr. Partha Pratim Roy, Associate Professor, IIT Roorkee delivered a lecture on ‘Machine Learning using Python’ on 17th November 2023. The lecture was organized by the School of Computer Engineering, KIIT Deemed to be University. His lecture covered various emerging research fields with a list of sub-problems where machine learning and advanced machine learning can be applied. Some of them are: AI and robotics, OCR, Automatic Speech Recognition, Multi-modal Biometric System, Sensors and Human Action Understanding, HCI using Brain Sensor, Autonomous Driving Vehicle, Video Surveillance and Trajectory Analysis, Image Generation, Applications of Machine Learning in Agriculture, etc. His lecture immensely benefited the graduate students with an opportunity to get a head start in Machine Learning, which is an emerging technology in the field of Computer Science. This event was coordinated and hosted by Dr. Pradeep Kumar Mallick, Associate Professor-II, KIIT School of Computer Engineering.
