NSS School of Computer Engineering Celebrates Parakram Diwas

Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Jayanti is celebrated in India as Parakram Diwas. Born on January 23, 1897, in Cuttack, Odisha, Subhas Chandra Bose was one of India’s most prominent freedom fighters. He was strongly influenced by Swami Vivekananda’s teachings and was known for his patriotic zeal as a student. NSS School of Computer Engineering celebrated Parakram Diwas with patriotic fervor on 23rd January 2022.  

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Braja Kishore Mishra, Business Analyst, Asian Paints enlightened the audience with his motivating words and shared his exemplary journey as an NSS volunteer. He suggested some practical ideas which could be delivered during the pandemic. An interactive Q&A session followed his talk. Mr. Mishra is a recipient of the NSS Best Volunteer Award  

The NSS volunteers marked the occasion with speeches, poetry, and patriotic songs which were followed by the narration of Netaji’s real-life events. Dr. Kajal Parashar, Program Coordinator, KIIT NSS Bureau shared the achievements of the NSS volunteers. Prof. Sheetal Das, Prof. Ramakant Parida, and Dr. Minakhi Rout, Program Officers, NSS School of Computer Engineering also spoke on the occasion.
