KIIT School of Computer Engineering Organizes Lecture on “Space OS: A Spatial Operating System for 5G Edge”

Dr. Muthucumaru Maheswaran, Associate Professor, School of Computer Science, McGill University, Canada delivered a lecture on “Space OS: A Spatial Operating System for the5G Edge” on 9th October 2021. The lecture, organized by the School of Computer Engineering, KIIT Deemed to be University, enlightened and benefited Graduate and Master’s students, research scholars, and faculty members by giving them the basic knowledge of Operating Systems and some recent overview of Space OS.  He further explained Cloud Computing, Edge Computing, and Space-oriented OS.  The session was kept interactive by efforts put by the speaker, students, and the host. It was coordinated and hosted by Dr. Dipak Kumar Mohanty, Assistant Professor of the School of Computer Engineering.
