Online Academic Audit (2020-21) for B. Tech, M. Tech and Ph. D programs at the School of Electrical Engineering, KIIT-DU was organized on 22nd July 2021. The academic audit provides an opportunity for the School to evaluate its qualitative processes/measures for Online Teaching-Learning, Evaluation, Research, Project and other best practices followed.

At the outset, expert Dr. Ashok Pradhan, Professor, IIT Kharagpur was welcomed by Prof. Byamakesh Nayak, Dean, School of Electrical Engineering. The discussion focused on the review of activities and initiatives undertaken by the School based on recommendations of the previous academic audit report (2019-20). The initiatives taken by the School was well appreciated by the expert, Prof. Pradhan.

Dr.  Rudra Narayan Dash, B. Tech Program Head presented the curriculum development and related aspects.  Prof. Tapaswini Biswal, Course Coordinator presented the theory course file highlighting the activities conducted in the online mode of teaching. There was an interaction session with all the faculty members along with Dr. C. K. Panigrahi, Director, QA Cell. Prof. Subrat Behera highlighted the initiatives taken by the School for the industrial collaboration.

Prof. M. K. Maharana discussed all the courses offered by the School as Minor, Honours, Department Elective and Open Elective. Different aspects of the M. Tech. program along with the Publications of the MTech students were presented by Dr. Babita Panda, M. Tech. Program Head. Dr. Sriparna Roy Ghatak, Ph. D. Program Head discussed different research aspects such as Publication, Project, Consultancy activities of the School.

Prof. Tanmoy Roy Choudhury, FIC (SA) coordinated the interaction of the experts with students, alumni, and stakeholders. They shared their experiences during their stay at KIIT-DU.  The session ended with a final audit report compilation from the esteemed auditors. The vote of thanks was proposed by Prof. Satya Ranjan Jena, FIC-QA Cell of the School.
