IEEE Honours KIIT Professor

The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering INC (IEEE) has bestowed appreciation on Prof. Chinmoy Kumar Panigrahi, Chair, IEEE Kolkata Section Consumer Technology Society Chapter-Bhubaneswar for 2020-21 for rendering remarkable services and contributions towards the advancement of IEEE and Engineering Professions. Currently, Prof. Panigrahi is serving as the Professor, School of Electrical Engineering and Director, Quality Assurance, KIIT-DU.

The IEEE Consumer Technology Society (CTSoc) is a global leader that inspires research, development, and deployment of cutting-edge technologies for consumer products for the advancement and benefit of humanity. The CTSoc ISA Committee is charged with establishing ongoing relationships and continuous two-way dialogue with the technical leadership and general management of consumer electronics industry stakeholders who employ CTSoc member engineers. Such relationships are designed to facilitate inputs from industry leadership with regard to professional development priorities of their employees as well as identification of opportunities for CTSoc to engage in standard development efforts that will advance commerce and markets of consumer electronics products and services.

The management of KIIT-DU congratulated Prof. Panigrahi for extending such noteworthy services and contributions towards IEEE professional activities.
