Collaborative Online International Learning Project Concludes at KSAS & KSRM
The Open Innovation-Living Lab Research Group of KIIT School of Applied Sciences (KSAS) and KIIT School of Rural Management (KSRM) completed the second Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) project with Coventry University UK and University of Dayton USA on 2nd July 2021.
This is a unique peer learning model, in which 130 students from KIIT-DU, School of Engineering of Coventry University, UK and School of Engineering of University of Dayton, USA participated from April to July 2021. The program was led by Dr. P. Pattojoshi from School of Applied Sciences; Prof. Damodar Jena from School of Rural Management; and Prof. Amar K. Mohanty from School of Law along with three Professors from the partner Universities. The course shall lead to a student summit to be held on 24th July 2021.
In this module, students in small groups across Universities, designed and validated identified Humanitarian Engineering Projects from a project management perspective, ready for a field test. KIIT-DU students from second semester B Tech, Rural and Agribusiness Management conceptualised and ideated the projects whereas Masters Students of Engineering from U-Coventry and U-Dayton, enriched the ideas through PM courses in this COIL module.
All the participating students have received certificates of participation jointly from all the three Universities.
