KIIT Skill Centre Inaugurates RoboAnalyzer-Based Online/Offline Competition

KIIT Skill Centre in collaboration with SVR Robotics, successfully inaugurated the RoboAnalyzer-Based Online/Offline Competition (ROC 2026 – Version 7.0), a national-level robotics competition, on 1st and 2nd August 2026 at KIIT University, Bhubaneswar where students from various institutes came together to be a part of it. Developed around RoboAnalyzer, a robotics simulation software created at IIT Delhi, the competition aims to provide engineering students with experiential learning in robotics, automation, simulation, and advanced manufacturing while promoting innovation, collaboration, and industry-oriented skill development.

The inaugural programme featured addresses by Prof. (Dr.) Hrushikesh Mohanty, Additional Director, KIIT Skill Centre; Dr. Bharat Chandra Routara, Senior Professor & Principal, KIIT Polytechnic; Dr. S. M. Ali, Director, KIIT Skill Centre; and Prof. Suman Bhattacharya, Director, Kareer School & Head, NextGen Learning and Centre of Innovation & Research (AI/ML). The programme was further enriched by insightful sessions from Dr. Rajeev Lochana G. Chittawadigi and Prof. Subir K. S. Saha, who highlighted the significance of robotics simulation, experiential learning, and indigenous technology development in engineering education. Shri Rashmi Ranjan Mohapatra, CEO, World Skill Center, encouraged students to embrace emerging technologies and industry-driven skill development to become future-ready professionals. Mr. Vinod Atpadkar, Director of SVR Robotics, also delivered the concluding remarks and proposed the vote of thanks.

The programme was organised under the guidance of Dr. S. M. Ali, Director, KIIT Skill Centre, and Prof. (Dr.) Hrushikesh Mohanty, Additional Director, KIIT Skill Centre, whose leadership and continuous support played a pivotal role in the successful execution of the event. The inauguration of ROC 2026 – Version 7.0 marks another significant milestone in KIIT Skill Centre’s commitment to strengthening industry-academia collaboration and promoting innovation-driven, experiential learning in robotics and automation.
