Welcoming the new students, he urged them not to remain confined to their respective courses but to continually acquire knowledge and skills. “You are under the KIIT platform, and this is a brand,” Dr. Samanta said, adding that students have access to the best campus, laboratories and facilities under one platform. He emphasised that this is an age of skills and advised students to develop abilities that would make them “saleable in the market.”

Dr. Samanta also stressed the importance of discipline, describing it as a prime factor at KIIT. He encouraged students to make full use of the Tutor-Mentor Programme and use technology, particularly mobile phones, positively. “Positively use your mind and think positively,” he advised.
