KSPH Students, Alumni Faculties Shine at the 14th IEA-SEA Conference
Two students, three alumni, one faculty and the Director of KIIT School of Public Health (KSPH) participated at the 14th SEA Regional Scientific Meeting of the International Epidemiological Association and International Conference on Public Health and Sustainable Development from 22nd to 25th November 2022. All the submissions from KSPH were selected for oral presentations, while about 5% of total presentations had KSPH affiliation. All the presenters received a full scholarship to present their papers.
The KSPH Director made an oral presentation and chaired a scientific session at the conference. Two papers – presented by Dr. Pratap Kumar Jena, Associate Professor, KSPH and co-authored by Dr. Monalisha Sahoo (KSPH Alumni) & Dr. Santosh Kumar Panda, Associate Professor, KIMS; and by Mr. Debashis Mohapatra, 3rd Semester MPH Student and co-authored by Dr. Nancy Satpathy (Alumni), Er. Ajit Singh (Alumni) & Dr. Pratap Kumar Jena respectively – got “Oral Presentation Award” based on the recommendation of the Scientific Committee of the conference. This academic achievement represents student-teacher collaboration and continuous alumni engagement at KSPH.
