KSPH Director Invited to Participate in APACPH Convention
Dr. Sudhir Kumar Satpathy, Prof. & Director, School of Public Health, KIIT-DU was invited to participate in the General Assembly Meeting and Dean’s Meeting of the Asia Pacific Academic Consortium for Public Health (APACPH) on 26th October 2021 to discuss public health issues and research collaborations among APACPH members in meeting the objectives and future goals in Asia-Pacific Region. From India, KIIT-DU & SCTIMST, Trivandrum are the only two institutional members of the APACPH. The meeting discussed the various past and future activities of APACPH and its regional offices and invited suggestions for standardizing online public health education in the Public Health Institutions. Nearly 30 Deans/Directors of various Schools of Public Health in the Asia Pacific Region participated. They shared their experiences of online teaching and challenges faced during COVID-19 pandemic.
