KSFH Organizes Regional Seminar on Capital Market and the Role of SEBI
On 30th June 2023, KIIT School of Social, Financial & Human Sciences (KSFH) organized a Regional Seminar on Capital Market and the Role of SEBI. Shri Ashwin Bhatia, Whole Time Member of the Securities & Exchange Board of India (SEBI), joined the seminar as the resource person and provided guidance to the aspiring investors in their investment journey. He emphasized the importance of making appropriate investments at an early stage, drawing from his personal experiences, and highlighted key precautions for the young minds to be aware of.
The seminar was graced by Prof. (Dr.) Sasmita Samanta, Vice Chancellor, KIIT Deemed University, who congratulated KSFH for organizing the event. Prof. (Dr.) Jayanta Kumar Parida, Director, KSFH, delivered the welcome address, while Shri Moloy Biswas, Regional Head, CDSL, concluded the seminar with closing remarks. Shri G Ram Mohan Rao, CGM-RD, ERO Kolkata, provided an overview of SEBI’s activities in the eastern region, and Shri Pratyush Sengupta, BSE IPF, introduced the guests and gave a brief overview of the program.
Over 300 students from fifteen colleges and universities in Bhubaneswar participated in the program.
