KSAC Organizes Student Society Induction Programme 2021
The Student Society Induction Programme 2021 was organized by KIIT Student Activity Centre (KSAC) on 15th November 2021 on a virtual mode. Addressing the newly-inducted Student Coordinators, Assistant Coordinators, School Representatives and members of KSAC, Prof. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS thanked them for their commitment in carrying forward the activities of KSAC so well even during the pandemic. He also appreciated the efforts of the staff of KSAC.
Prof. Hrushikesha Mohanty, Vice Chancellor, KIIT-DU; Prof. Sasmita Samanta, Pro-Vice Chancellor; and Prof. Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty, Registrar were also present on the occasion. The dignitaries released the Coffee Table e-Book of KSAC; ‘Kritika-2021’, the University Student’s Magazine; and ‘Kirti 2021’, the Annual University Women’s Magazine. They also released ‘Kompendium’, the Year Book of KSAC, which is a compilation of events, festivals, student achievements and outreach activities. This was followed by the launch of ‘K-STAR – the Champion’s Pride’ which is an event designed exclusively for 1st year students. The Founder also launched the KSAC Student’s App “Kampaign” which is a one-stop platform for students to get the latest updates and details about student events.
More than 1000 students participated in the induction programme. The vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Shyam Sundar Behura, Dy. Director, Student Services. The event was hosted by KIITian, Ritik Jha.
