KIITAA Delhi Chapter Organizes Alumni Connect Program
The KIIT Alumni Association (KIITAA) Delhi Chapter organized an Alumni Connect Program on “Reskilling and Upskilling” on 13th February 2022. The Alumni Resource persons invited were Ms. Nidhi Singh, Counsel, Supreme Court of India; Mr. Avinash Singh, Founder & CEO DIY Guru and EB Member KIITAA Delhi Chapter; Mr. Satyendra Pathak, Dept. of Excise & Prohibition, Govt. of Jharkhand; and Mr. Bibhu Nandan Singh, Founder Bihari No. 1 and Actor, Writer & Director Binge. The event was moderated by Mr. Piyush Verma, Convener, KIITAA Delhi Chapter who is presently the Technical Lead at EY.
The welcome address was delivered by Mr. Dipan Sahu, Vice President, KIITAA Delhi Chapter currently working as Asst. Innovation Director, Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell. All the four speakers laid importance on continuous reskilling and upskilling in professional life. They emphasized skills such as critical thinking and problem solving, emotional intelligence, decision making, creativity and flexibility. This followed a Q&A session. The program was enthusiastically attended by more than 200 alumni and executive members of other chapters.
Dr. Shyam Sundar Behura, Dy. Director Student Services & Jt. Secretary (ex-officio), KIITAA acknowledged the contribution of the alumni speakers. He thanked KIITAA Delhi Chapter for the initiation and requested other chapter heads to carry forward the Alumni Connect and Networking program. Dr. Behura informed that the event was entirely Alumni driven as envisioned by Prof. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS. The words of thanks was delivered by Mr. Piyush Verma, Convener, Delhi Chapter. He thanked the resource persons and other EB Members of his Chapter Mr. Gaurav Shrinivas, Mr. Vipul Bharadwaj and Mr. Aditya Kumar. He also thanked the Founder, KIIT & KISS; Prof. Sasmita Samanta, VC, KIIT-DU and other authorities of KIIT.
