Khwaab Society of KSAC Organizes “Cleanliness Drive”

Cleanliness and sanitation are an integral part of the Gandhian way of living. On the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, Team members of ‘Khwaab’, the Social Responsibility Society of KIIT functioning under KIIT Student Activity Centre (KSAC), organized a cleanliness drive at their respective places. The members enthusiastically participated in the drive and cleaned their neighborhoods. As one of the philosophies of ‘Khwaab’ is “Art of Giving”, an initiative of Prof. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS, the team made an effort to give back to the environment. “In exchange for the resources that our environment provides us, the least we can do is to keep it clean”, a member said. Team Khwaab urges everyone to follow the Gandhian way of living and develop the will of doing greater good. Dr. Shyam Sundar Behura, Dy. Director Student Services thanked the students for taking up such initiatives that would benefit one self as well as the society.
