KAEWS and Khwahishein Society of KSAC Conduct Inter-College Open Mic

A Virtual Open Mic ‘Kuch Alfaaz Kudrat Ke’ was organized by KIIT Animal & Environmental Welfare Society (KAEWS) and ‘Khwahishein’, the Hindi Society functioning under KIIT Student Activity Centre (KSAC). The event was based on the theme ‘The Home We Call Earth’, which focused on how Humanity has forgotten that the Earth isn’t just their planet to live on, but it is also the home of millions of plants and animals, and it is the need of the situation to stand against the atrocities on the name of evolution.

Students from KIIT Deemed to be University, SNDT University, Mumbai and THK Jain College, Kolkata came together and participated in the virtual Open Mic Event. They addressed the audience about the beauty of nature through their creative poetry and speeches and also discussed the ways by which people can come together to tackle the ecological imbalance, to make the planet Earth a better place to live for every living being. Dr. Shyam Sundar Behura, Dy. Director, Student Services thanked all the participants for their active involvement in the event.
