Reporting-cum-Orientation Programme of KIIT ITI 2019-21 Batch
The Reporting-cum-Orientation Programme of the KIIT ITI for the newly admitted trainees of 2019-21 batch was held in Campus – 14 on 26th August, 2019. More than 150 trainees along with their guardians reported in the programme.
A formal orientation meeting was held to make the new entrants aware of the KIIT, KISS & KIMS. The meeting was presided over by Shri R. N. Dash, Secretary, KIIT & KISS while Shri P.K.Sahoo, Director E & E.O. and Dr. Mihir Ranjan Nayak, Director Planning, KIIT – DU graced the occasion as Guests of Honour.
At the outset, Dr. Gangadhara Mishra, Principal ITI offered the welcome address and stated the dominance of KIIT ITI in the field of skill education across Odisha. He further intimated the guardians about the persistent dedicated efforts of Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder KIIT & KISS since 1992 to make Odisha free from unemployment through quality education.
Dr. Mihir Ranjan Nayak, Director planning, KIIT – DU explained the guardians regarding the suitability of the KIIT ITI passed out trainees in the leading industries of recent times. Further he advised the trainees to augment their overall development by acquiring KAS (Knowledge, Attitude and Skill) during their training period.
Shri Pramod Kumar Sahoo, Director E & E.O. placed a brief narration on the exponential growth of KIIT and KISS from 1992 till today under the aegis and leadership of the Founder KIIT & KISS Dr. Achyuta Samanta.
In his presidential address, Shri R. N. Das, Secretary KIIT & KISS urged the trainees to focus on learning the skill for their overall development, their families and above all the nation as a whole. Mr. G.G .Jena, Executive Assistant presented Vote of Thanks to all dignitaries present in the meeting.
