KIIT School of Fashion Technology Organizes ‘KIRTI KALPANA’
“Kirti Kalpana,” the Graduate Fashion Show, was organized at KIIT School of Fashion Technology on 3rd May, 2024, showcasing the final collection of Bachelor of Design (Fashion/Textile) students. The event was inaugurated by Prof. Saranjit Singh, Vice Chancellor, KIIT-DU, in the presence of dignitaries including Prof. J. R. Mohanty, Registrar; Prof. Himanshu Khatua, Director General, KSFT, KSFMS & KSMC; Prof. S. S. Ray, Director General, KSAP; Prof. Bauri Raula, Dean, KSOFT; and Ms. Gipsita Nayak, Deputy Director.
During the inaugural session, Prof. Singh congratulated the graduating students, their parents, and the entire team of KSOFT. Emphasizing the importance of the designing and fashion industry as a whole, he expressed his pleasure over the achievements of the School nationally and internationally.
The show featured collections created by 23 Bachelor of Design (Fashion/Textile) students, with Ms. Priyadarsini Jena winning the Best Designer Award. The event attracted renowned influencers, designers, academicians, and industry people, with some being felicitated. The ‘Kirti Kalpana’ brochure was also released by the dignitaries on the occasion.
