KIIT School of Computer Applications Conducts Workshop on ‘Employability Skills Corporate Etiquette’

The KIIT School of Computer Applications (KSCA) conducted a Workshop on ‘Employability Skills and Corporate Etiquette’ on 25th November, 2023. The guest speaker was Ms. Vineeta Mishra, Principal Consultant – Learning and Development, Infosys, Bhubaneswar.

The workshop was attended by over 100 students along with faculty members and staff. Two sessions were successfully conducted with a QA session at the end. The first session, conducted by Ms. Vineeta Mishra, laid emphasis on interview techniques, body language and email writing. The second session, conducted by Dr. Sadhna Sudershana, Asst. Professor, KSCA, dealt with accelerating personal effectiveness through emotional intelligence.

Addressing the students, Prof. (Dr.) Veena Goswami, Director, KSCA encouraged them to hone their technical and soft skills for better employability. Dr. Suman Bhattacharya, Director, CAAS, KIIT-DU spoke about the importance of polishing technical skills, keeping abreast with cutting edge technologies, significance of effective projects and remaining emotionally intelligent to survive in this competitive scenario. The vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Sadhna Sudershana.
