Guest Talk on Fuzzy Machine Learning at KIIT School of Electronics Engineering

KIIT School of Electronics Engineering organized a webinar on “Fuzzy Machine Learning Models for Remote Sensing Data Classification” on 30th October 2021. The resource person for the webinar was Dr. Anil Kumar, Scientist/Engineer “SG” & Head of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing Department of Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), ISRO, Dehradun. The state-of-art image classification methods for discrimination of earth objects from remote sensing satellite data with an emphasis on fuzzy machine learning algorithms were presented. His talk covered basics of image processing to advanced level where he displayed his research on single data and temporal multi-sensor remote sensing data, such as digital photogrammetry, GPS/GNSS, and LiDAR.

The session was coordinated by Dr. Vimal Shrivastava and arranged by Dr. Sukanta Kumar Sabut, School of Electronics Engineering. Around 38 participants comprising Master’s students, Research scholars and Faculty members attended the session.
