KIIT School of Film and Media Sciences Organizes Online Faculty Development Programme 2021

KIIT School of Film and Media Sciences (KSFMS) is organizing a five-day Online Faculty Development Programme 2021 from 21st June 2021 on virtual mode. As many as 9 sessions will be conducted with an aim to contribute to improving the teaching and research skills of the participants. Eminent speakers from both academic and industrial backgrounds will facilitate knowledge to the registered participants from different Universities and Institutions across the nation.

Speaking at the school-level inaugural session, Mr. Anand Subramanian, an eminent Film Maker and Co-founder ‘Skill for Me’, highlighted the important aspects of “On-line Media Training – Challenges & Beyond”. The lecture presented a holistic overview of the On-line Education in Film and Media, benefits of online teaching, common challenges for students and teachers, preparation and approaches for online teaching and basic learning modalities of online media education. The session was very informative, interactive and comprehensive covering almost every aspect of On-line Education in Film and Media.

Along with the faculties of the school, faculties from different Universities and Institutions also joined the session. The Q&A session was very interactive where many faculties shared their genuine concerns in online teaching of subjects like film making. Prof. Himansu S. Khatua, CEO, SFMS, SFT & SMC graced the session with the welcome remarks and encouraging words for the aspiring faculties.
