NSS unit of KIIT School of Civil Engineering, under KIIT NSS Bureau, in association with Global Yoga Alliance organized a Webinar on “Mental Health Management – The Yogic Way” with reference to the present scenario of Covid-19. The session focused on physical health, mental well being, role of attitude, deep breathing and self realization. Yoga asanas like Kumbhka, Purak, Rechak, etc., were demonstrated to the volunteers.
Yoga Guru Dr. Gopal Ji outlined the impact of yoga in daily life specially during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and explained the connection of yoga and mental health. Queries from the volunteers were also answered by Dr. Gopal Ji . The webinar served as an opportunity for the volunteers to know how to be well and kind in this pandemic situation and yoga as a regular practice too. Appreciable efforts were put in by the volunteers of KIIT NSS Bureau to make the session successful.
Earlier, welcoming the Yoga Guru Dr. Gopal Ji and other participants, Dr. Kajal Parashar, Programme Coordinator, KIIT NSS Bureau expressed her thanks and gratitude to the members of Central, State NSS Cell and KIIT authorities for providing an opportunity to connect with people in this tough time for the safe and healthy life through Yoga.
