KIIT School of Computer Applications (KSCA) and KIIT School of Civil Engineering (KSCE) jointly celebrated the NSS Week 2021 on ‘Ethical Digital Literacy, Van Mahotsav and Swachhata Drive’. The event generated awareness on these burning issues. Dr. Kajal Parashar, Programme Coordinator, KIIT-NSS Bureau said, creating awareness on contemporary issues is an important role and responsibility of NSS volunteers.
Professor Prachi Vijayeeta, Programme Officer of School of Computer Applications addressed the participants and provided a brief introduction to the topic. She went on to add the necessities of ethical digital literacy in one’s life. Professor Satya Ranjan Samal, Programme Officer of School of Civil Engineering shared his experience with NSS. An alumnus of KIIT School of Computer Applications, Mr. Sahansha Khan, who is a Senior Programmer in the Ministry of Interiors, Bahrain, gave all the important information regarding ethical digital literacy. The presentation displayed by him was helpful for all.
The deliberation was followed by showcasing some posters, short videos, and a Van Mahostav and Swachchata drive by the NSS volunteers. The vote of thanks was proposed by Professor Prachi Vijayeeta.
