A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between KIIT Deemed to be University (KIIT-DU) and SMPS Electric Control Private Limited, Bhubaneswar on 25th March 2024 with the vision of collaborating in joint research projects, consulting as well as academic engagements in varied domains of mutual interest and institutional expertise.
Prof. Saranjit Singh, Vice-Chancellor, KIIT-DU signed the agreement with Mrs. Swarnalata Dei, Managing Director of SMPS Electric Control. Prof. Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty, Registrar, KIIT-DU introduced KIIT, highlighting its remarkable achievements and the need for interdisciplinary research. Dr. S. Khatua, Chief Technical Officer, SMPS Electric Control provided a brief introduction of his enterprise and underlined the immense possibilities of mutually beneficial engagement between the two organizations in research and consulting. Prof. (Dr.) Chinmoy Kumar Panigrahi Director, School of Electrical Engineering, KIIT-DU also spoke at the signing ceremony, while Prof. (Dr.) Byamakesh Nayak, Dean proposed the vote of thanks.
