The 74th Republic Day was celebrated by KIIT and KISS on 26th January. Smt. Saswati Bal, President, KIIT & KISS unfurled the National Flag. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS We are indebted to Bharat Ratna Bhimrao Ambedkar who has given us the constitution of the country. Both KIIT and KISS have grown and have become stable because of the love and contribution of each and every staff. We convey our best wishes to all staff for contributing to the growth of KIIT and KISS.
In this silver jubilee year, we are proud that KIIT and KISS have achieved several milestones. KISS has won UNESCO International Literacy Prize while KIIT has got Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Purashkar. It has been possible because of the staff members. He thanked and congratulated students of KIIT & KISS for participating in various cultural programmes.
On this occasion, parades and diverse colorful and patriotism-based cultural shows were displayed by the students of KIIT group of institutes & KISS. Among the dignitaries R. N. Dash, Secretary, KIIT & KISS, Prof. N. L. Mitra, Former Chancellor, KIIT DU; Prof.(Dr.) Subrata Acharya, Pro-Chancellor; Prof. Sasmita Samanta, VC, KIIT DU; Prof. J. R. Mohanty, Registrar, KIIT DU; Prof. Deepak Behera, VC, KISS DU, Dr. P. K. Routaray, Registrar, KISS DU; Olympian Dutee Chand, Shreyanka Sarangi and Swetaparna Panda were present.
