Successful treatment of a premature born baby at KIMS

The Department of Neonatology, KIMS expresses its happiness of discharging a premature baby born with a birth weight  of 630 gms who was treated in the NICU for as many as 85 days. Ultimately, the baby was discharged with weight of 1800gms with normal neurological assessment, normal vision, hearing and breathing on room air as well as feeding from the mother.

It has become possible due to the dedicated efforts of the NICU Doctors and staff. Remarkably, the parents and family members of the patient deserve much appreciation because they reposed trust on the Medical team despite undergoing of acute complicated procedure by the patient in the course of her NICU stay.
