KSFH Organizes the Freshers’ Day ‘KASTURI’
The School of Social, Financial and Human Sciences (KSFH) at KIIT-DU successfully organized ‘KASTURI’, the Freshers’ Day, with pomp and fervor. It saw enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members as they welcomed the newly admitted students into the KSFH family.
The event was graced by Prof. Saranjit Singh, Vice-Chancellor, KIIT-DU; Prof. J. R. Mohanty, Registrar; and Prof. Jayanta Ku. Parida, Director, KSFH, among other dignitaries. Prof. Singh outlined his expectations for the School and expressed his unwavering support to help the School reach new heights. The Registrar shared his insights on the progress of the school, offering motivating words of advice for the newly admitted students. Highlighting the journey of KSFH, the Director said that the School has faculty members from diverse institutes of eminence from across the country including IITs, Delhi University, JNU, BHU, HCU, among others with around 70 Scopus indexed publications.
Around 350 newly admitted students were welcomed in the programme, which concluded with a magnificent cultural programme featuring dance performances, drama, ramp walk, and song performances by both students and faculty members.
