KIIT Polytechnic Celebrates Engineers’ Day

Engineers’ Day, which commemorates the birth anniversary of the visionary engineer Sir M. Visvesvaraya, was celebrated with enthusiasm at KIIT Polytechnic on 15th September 2023. Delivering a guest lecture on this occasion, Dr. Kartik Chandra Swain, Former Scientist at ISRO, emphasized the importance of passion, hard work, and commitment to achieving success as an engineer. He also narrated the impressive achievements of Indian space engineers in various space missions, including Chandrayaan.

Sharing his personal journey and experiences, Mr. Saroj Ku. Das, an alumnus of KIIT Polytechnic currently working as an Automation Project Manager at TPWODL, emphasized attendance, obedience, and discipline as essential aspects of students’ lives to achieve success.

In his presidential address, Shri R. N. Dash, Secretary of KIIT & KISS, explained how KIIT has now become an international brand under the leadership of its Founder, Prof. Achyuta Samanta. Dr. T. Mohanty, Principal of Kalinga Polytechnic, informed that the 10 best projects of KIIT Polytechnic participated in a state-level project exhibition. Mr. S. K. Rout, Vice Principal, proposed the vote of thanks.
