KIMS Prof. shines at SAFES International Endocrine Congress

Dr. Sambit Das, Professor, Department of Endocrinology, Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) attended the prestigious Biennial Conference of SAFES International Endocrine Congress, held at Kathmandu, Nepal, on March 17 and 18, as an invited faculty.

Dr. Das delivered his talk on “Use of ultra long acting basal insulins in in-patient and out-patient glycemic management”. His talk was highly appreciated among the delegates and faculties at the meet. He also chaired a symposium on “Kidney and Endocrinology” at the prestigious conference of endocrinologists.

The 5th Biennial Conference of SAFES International Endocrine Congress had a theme “Endocrine Kaleidoscope”. SAFES is an international organisation representing endocrine societies of India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal and Sri Lanka. The meeting was attended by more than 1,200 physicians and endocrinologists across the globe.
