‘Zaahirana – Jashn Hindi Ka’ Organized by KSAC
“Khwahishein”, The Hindi Society of KIIT Deemed to be University functioning at the KIIT Student Activity Center (KSAC), organized a two-day long celebration ‘Zaahirana’ on 18th and 19th February 2023. Students participated enthusiastically in a series of events spanning two days, reflecting their love, respect, and interest in Hindi.
‘Zaahirana’ had five sub-events which included Kavyansh (poetry event), Dangal (debate event), Shero Shayri (slam poetry event), Hasya Ekalap (stand-up comedy), and Story writing. The first round of all events was held on 18th February 2023. Those who got selected for the finals, performed on 19th February 2023, followed by prize distribution ceremony and a colourful cultural evening organized by Team Khwahishein. Performances include a song presented by the members of Korus. It was then followed by a play on the poetry Rashmirathi and Jugalbandi which was performed by members of Khwahishein.
Several faculty members judged the participants. Md. SK Niyazuddin was the guest at the closing ceremony, which was also graced by Dr. Shyam Sundar Behura, Dy. Director SS, Dr. Bhavya Bhushsan and Dr. Arpana Premi Lina Oraon.
