KIMS DM Resident Gets Second Prize in National Level Rheumatology-Eye Combined Conference
Dr. Pranavi V., Senior Resident pursuing DM Course in Rheumatology, KIMS, was awarded the second prize in case presentation at “Catching the Eye in Rheumatology”, a National Conference organized by Odisha Arthritis and Rheumatology Foundation (OARF) on 8th August, 2022. This was a combined conference between doctors of eye (Ophthalmology) and Rheumatology Departments where top experts from both the fields participated.
The OARF honoured Prof. Ramnath Misra, Head of the Department of Rheumatology, KIMS for his contribution to the field. There was a case presentation competition where Dr. Pranavi presented a case of vasculitis affecting the eye, sinuses and finally the lung. Her presentation was much appreciated by the judges and she was awarded the second prize for the case.
