KIIT School of Electrical Engineering Organizes Alumni Talk Series, ‘KAMYA’
School of Electrical Engineering, KIIT-DU organized Kamya: Alumni Talk Series on 19th July 2021. The session started with the welcome address by Dr. Arjyadhara Pradhan, Alumni Co-coordinator. The speaker of the talk series, Mr. Souvik Hazra explained the importance and role of Electrical Engineers in making of ‘Digital India’. He discussed different aspects of the power system like transmission and modeling. He emphasized the importance of Electrical Energy in developing our country to a developed state. The third year students attended the participatory session. Dr. Srikant Allamshetty thanked the speaker and all the members present. Mr. Hazra is currently working at Infineon Technologies AG, Munich as Staff Machine Learning Engineer. He has completed his Masters in Data Science from EURECOM, France and worked at Airbus and University of Cambridge. He is co-author of the book titled “Deep Learning Applications of Short-Range Radars” and a reviewer at IEEE Sensors Journal.
