KIIT School of Electrical Engineering Organizes MATLAB Training Program

The School of Electrical Engineering, KIIT Deemed to be University organized a 15-day hands-on-training on MATLAB in the fields of Basic Programming, and simulations on Electrical Circuits, Power Electronics, Solar PV, Power System. The course was designed to enable the participants to acquire the basic knowledge of applying their theoretical understanding into existence through virtual platforms.

There were around 95 participants, who attended the training programme from different Schools with their utmost involvement in solving assignments from time to time and in class discussions also. The faculty members involved in the training program were Dr. Satyaranjan Jena, Dr. Aliva Mohapatra, Dr. Sriparna Roy Ghatak, Prof. Subodh Mohanty, Prof. Tapas Roy and Dr. Tanmoy Roy Choudhury. The training was conducted with active support of TAs Mr. Ajay Ku Sahu and Ms. Sasmita Kar. The program was meticulously conducted under the able leadership of Dr. Byamakesh Nayak, Dean, SoEE.

As a part of the training programme, Dr. Dipankar Debnath, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Electrical Engineering, IIT Kharagpur shared his expertise on the concepts of EV design through Matlab simulation. The School plans to conduct more such training programmes in future.
