KIIT Staff’s Song Released by US-based Global Organization ‘Ame Odia-Ame Odisha’
When you are soul-tired and a little bit heartbroken, you seek solace in familiar places. Sometimes this place may not even be an actual physical space but a comfortable state of being. Sometimes it could be a song that seems so all-encompassing that it almost hides you, shields you from everything going on in and around you. It wraps itself around your mind and literally heals you – your heart, your soul and your mind. It really depends on what your heart wants to play on a loop at a given point of tiredness, and dejection.
With these feelings in mind, “Ame Odia-Ame Odisha”, a global organization based in the USA, has released its first Odia Modern Song “Satare Mun Janini” sung by Abantika Pattanayak, AAO, Cultural Activities, KIIT and produced by Ajanta Vibes on 12th December 2021. The release ceremony was chaired by Author Dr. Itirani Samanta, Editor, ‘Kadambini’ in the august presence of some of the finest Odia playback singers of all time, Srijukta Pranab Pattanayak, Srimati Trupti Das and Guru Srimati Sangeeta Gosain.
All in one tone echoed to its singer Abantika Pattanayak; Music Director Om Prakash Mohanty; and Lyricist Smt. Chinmayee Mohanty for their beautiful presentation to all Odias residing in different corners of the world to feel homely away from home. All showered their good wishes and blessings to Singer Abantika Pattanayak for her successful journey in singing career and admired her contributions in the field of music.
