Students of KIIT School of Mechanical Engineering Organize Virtual Farewell to 2021 Pass-out Batch

“Goodbyes are not forever, goodbyes are not till the end. They just mean I’ll miss you until we meet again”

KIIT School of Mechanical Engineering Students organized a farewell function for the passing out students of 2021 batch. Dr. Bharat Chandra Routara, Dean, SME welcomed the students to the function and wished them a bright future. Dr. Purna Chandra Mishra, Dean (Research), SME encouraged the students to develop research ambiance. Dr. Diptikanta Das, Program Head, B.Tech., Mechanical Engineering memorized the valuable contributions of the passing out students during their academic years and advised them to go for higher studies in reputed global institutes.

Dr. Isham Panigrahi, Program Head, B.Tech., Mechanical (Automobile) Engineering thought back to the achievements of the students in KIIT Automotive society. Dr. P. Chandrasekhar, Program Head, B.Tech., Mechatronics Engineering discussed the placement scenario of the 2021 pass out students. Prof. Mrutyunjay Jena, Program Head, B.Tech., Aerospace Engineering, also wished for a bright future for the passing out students. Dr. Susanta Tripathy, Professor, SME interacted with the students and described his memories with the passing out students. Faculties and final year students shared their memories during the event.

Final year students hosted the event, showcased their performance with the animated videos of their hostel life and many more funny segments. Students of the passing out batch also shared their memories and expressed their gratitude towards the school and the university. The function was moderated and coordinated by Dr. Hemalata Jena and Dr. Amlana Panda, FICs, Student Affairs of the School. The program ended with the vote of thanks by Dr. Jena.
