KIITSchool of Mechanical Engineering Organizes Colloquium Lecture Series
Dr. Mamilla Ravi Sankar, Associate Professor, IIT Tirupati, delivered a lecture on “Finishing of Complex Features using Polymer Rheological Abrasive Fluids” under Colloquium Lecture Series of Academic Year 2022-23 organized by KIIT School of Mechanical Engineering on 13th August, 2022.
His expertise is on Micro-Nano Manufacturing, Precision 3D Printing, Sustainable Manufacturing, Online Monitoring, Bio-Manufacturing, Coatings, Tribology and Rheology and pursuing collaborative research with many reputed organizations. In his lecture, he introduced different scopes of collaborative research and available facilities in IIT Tirupati. He also explained different bio micro machining and their application in knee implantation. He also showed some of his recent development in the domain of nitride micro and nano finishing domain and represented the list of funding agencies (e.g. BARC, DRDO, DST etc.) he is currently working with.
