KIIT Faculty Invited as Expert Speaker to STTP on “Advances in Materials and Manufacturing Techniques”
Dr. Ramanuj Kumar, Assistant Professor-II, School of Mechanical Engineering, KIIT Deemed to be University was invited as an expert speaker for ISTE-approved one-week STTP on “Advances in Materials and Manufacturing Techniques” on 1st July 2021 through Microsoft Teams online meeting platform. The theme of the lecture was “Challenges in the machining of difficulty in cutting metal alloys: A Case Study”. This expert talk was conducted by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Annasaheb Dange College of Engineering and Technology, Ashta, Maharashtra. The main objective of this special talk was to discuss different challenges in the machining of titanium alloy and hardened steel. Minimum quantity lubrication techniques, spray impingement cooling techniques, nanofluid synthesis, and its characterization were discussed at the talk. The talk and discussion would be very useful for the participants.
