KIIT Faculty Delivers Expert Talk on 3D Printing
Dr. Swayam Bikash Mishra, Assistant Professor, School of Mechanical Engineering, KIIT Deemed to be University was invited for a guest lecture on “Innovations and Challenges in 3D printing” on 3rd July, 2021 through Microsoft Team online meeting platform. The theme of the lecture was to highlight the recent advances on 3D printing and issues with 3D printing technologies. The lecture series was conducted by Center for Sustainable Manufacturing and Recycling Technologies (SMART), Department of Mechanical Engineering, MRCET Campus, Hyderabad. The main objective of the lecture series was to discuss the newly developed 3D printing technologies, its acceptability and challenges associated with it. During the session, the future of 3D printing and how this technology will revolutionize the world were discussed in an interactive manner.
