Installation Ceremony of ISHRAE KIIT Student Chapter
The installation ceremony of the Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE) KIIT Student Chapter was held at KIIT School of Mechanical Engineering on 15th September 2022. The purpose of the chapter is to get more students interested, concerned, and involved in pursuing a career in the field of heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Gunjan Kumar, National Vice President-Student Activities, ISHRAE motivated the students to actively participate in national level competitions organized by ISHRAE and other organizations. Prof. B. Kiran Naik, President Bhubaneswar Sub-Chapter explained the activities of ISHRAE Bhubaneswar sub-chapter and conducted the oath taking ceremony for the new office bearers. Mr. Prabir Kumar Sen, Senior Consultant in HVAC delivered an informative talk on “Indoor Air Quality”.
Among others, Prof. B. C. Routara, Dean-SME; Prof. P. C. Mishra, Dean-Research, SME; Prof. Radha Kanta Sarangi, Faculty Advisor, KIIT ISHRAE Student Chapter; and faculty members of SME, Dr. Satya Prakash Kar, Dr. Abhilas Swain, Dr. P. Chandrasekhar, Dr. Gyan Sagar Sinha and Mr. Siba Padarabinda Behera were present. Mr. Vinayak Choubey proposed the vote of thanks.
