KIIT School of Humanities Organizes International Webinar on ‘Education and Employability’
The School of Humanities, Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) Deemed to be University organized an International Webinar on ‘Education and Employability: Developing Curious and Agile Minds’ on 27th February 2021. The objective of the webinar was to encourage the participants across various fields to become united and rejuvenate their knowledge for further promotion of interdisciplinary research that critically examines human, cultural, value based and contemporary sides of education and employability.
Dr. Vijay Kumar Kaul,Professor, Department of Business Economics, University of Delhi; Dr. Kishore Chandra Meher, Professor, Bule Hora University, Ethiopia; and Dr. Himanshu Sekhar Rout, Reader, Utkal University were the guest speakers at the webinar. It was also graced by Prof. Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty, Registrar, KIIT-DU; Prof. Sudarshan Nanda, Head, Research & Professor of Eminence; and Prof. S. C. Swain, Associate Dean & Webinar Advisor, KIIT School of Humanities.
Dr. Vijay Kumar Kaul spoke on ‘Education, Employability and National Education Policy 2020’. Dr. Kishore Chandra Meher shared his knowledge on ‘Education and Employability Situation of Ethiopia’. Dr. Himanshu Sekhar Rout deliberated on ‘Employability in Higher Education System of India’.
The technical session was handled by Dr. Swapnomayee Palit, Assistant Professor, KIIT-DU and moderated by Ms. Sugyanta Priyadarshani, Research Associate. The welcome note was delivered by convenor, Dr. Ananya Mitra, Assistant Professor, KIIT School of Humanities, while the vote of thanks was proposed by Co-convener, Dr. Smrutirekha Mohanty, Assistant Professor.
